Melbourne talent bookers 123 Agency to expand into the Sydney market

123 Agency, the Melbourne-based talent booking agents, have been a beloved figure in the world of Aussie music since their launch back in 2013, helping to bring countless brilliant Aussie acts around the country. But now, the company is now set to expand interstate, with the 123 Agency announcing the opening of a brand new Sydney office.

Since the company’s launch at BIGSOUND in 2013 by Damian Costin, who had spent many years in the music industry playing in bands and working behind the scenes, 123 Agency has grown into one of the most trusted booking agencies in the country. With a roster that includes a range of amazing acts such as Killing Heidi, Kingswood, Shihad, The Delta Riggs, and Tash Sultana, it’s hard to find an Aussie tour that hasn’t been pulled off without the help of the 123 Agency.

Now, with an ever-growing team of agents and roster of artists, the company is taking the logical step of expanding into the next-biggest musical market in Australia; Sydney.

“We’ve been working around the clock at 123 for a few years now and getting great results,” said 123 Agency’s director, Damian Costin. “With our ever expanding team of great agents and artists, we are happy to announce that both Josh Lane and Adam Montgomery will be heading up our new Sydney offices. The guys are really excited to join the greater Sydney music community and bringing their expertise and flare from the 123 Agency Melbourne office to Sydney.”

“The next 12 x months will see a lot of announcements coming from us so having a Sydney presence makes sense.”

123 Agency’s new location is set to be based in Redfern, and will be looked after by Josh Lane and Adam Montgomery. Josh and Adam’s roster includes artists such as Harts, Bec Sandridge, Gold Class, Gooch Palms, Didirri, and IV League.

123 Agency also has a very exciting 11 acts showcasing at this week’s BIGSOUND in Fortitude Valley, including Dear Seattle, Maddy Jane, and West Thebarton, and will also be hosting an unofficial party during the festivities. The party takes place at The Brightside, on Wednesday, September 6th, and will feature free beers and DJ sets from their acts.

Check out 123 Agency’s website for more information in the coming months, and if you run into any of the company’s agents up at BIGSOUND, be sure to give them some huge congratulations on this awesome expansion.
