Entertainment lawyer Sarah Woolcott has joined the BMG family

Esteemed media lawyer Sarah Woolcott is the latest addition to BMG, officially joining the team as their Director of Legal & Business Affairs.

One of the most recognisable names in musical legal affairs, Sarah Woolcott has over twelve years of experience in the music industry, having worked with Warner Music Australia, and spending the last few years as an entertainment lawyer at Media Arts Lawyers.

During her time in the industry, Sarah found herself in charge of negotiating huge deals for some equally large clients, including contracts relating to publishing, licensing, recording, and management matters.

Now, Sarah is set to take on the new role of Director of Legal & Business Affairs, with her new position seeing her reporting to BMG Australia’s Managing Director, Heath Johns.

Speaking of her appointment, Heath Johns explained, “Sarah is one of the most respected and highly regarded lawyers in the Australian music industry, and her diverse skill-set will be a massive asset for BMG Australia as we expand our recordings and publishing business.”
