Didirri signs rest of world deal with the Nettwerk Music Group

Didirri signs rest of world deal with the Nettwerk Music Group

Melbourne’s Didirri continues to go strength to strength, announcing new music to coincide with the reveal that he has landed an international label deal with the Nettwerk Music Group.

Signing on the dotted line at BIGSOUND this year, Didirri made things official with Nettwerk, who will now work with the UNIFIED Music Group in bringing the songwriter’s music right around the globe.

The Nettwerk deal, locked in for the rest of the world (excluding Australia and New Zealand), brings Didirri to a roster that boasts an impressive list of Aussies already, including Angus and Julia Stone, Jack River and Japanese Wallpaper.

“I am honestly humbled by my entire team and their collective experience and passion.” Didirri has said.

“I recognise that my team working together is a huge part of my ability to do this long term. I’m incredibly grateful for all the interactions I have had with Nettwerk and I’m excited to see how things grow with them on board.”

Sameer Sadhu (A&R, Nettwerk) has also spoken of the signing with excitement.

“We are thrilled to welcome Didirri to the Nettwerk family. He is a hypnotic storyteller who channels a rare marriage of nostalgia and modernism.”

Heading into the weekend, today also sees the release of Didirri’s new single, ‘Blue Mood Rising’. Connecting with producer Dann Hume (Troye Sivan, Tash Sultana) on this one, Didirri continues to make his music swirl – evocative and engaging in delivery.
