EXCLUSIVE: Kurt Bailey’s Mirror Records inks deal with global distributor Believe

It’s been just under three months since Mirror Music Group Director Kurt Bailey launched Mirror Records, inking deals with up-and-coming Aussie musicians Sloan Peterson and Ric Rufio, and beefing up its already impressive stable of artists: Gang Of Youths, Middle Kids, Brightness, Fountaineer and Clea.

Now, the Australian label has locked in a worldwide distribution deal with global independent digital distributor and services provider Believe.

Through Believe Distribution Services, the deal will see Mirror’s management and label roster benefit from Believe’s distribution technology and analytics team.

In fact, with a team of 400 international digital music industry experts operating out of 35 offices around the world, Believe’s extensive global network is expected to drastically develop the reach and visibility of Mirror’s artists internationally.

Believe launched in Australia in January 2016 with former Shock Records Label Director Mick Tarbuk at the helm. With the ambition to offer a full range of services to independent artists and labels in Australia, Believe is already helping to grow contemporary Australian music globally.

Believe is now the digital distribution home to a stellar roster of local music companies, including, Future Classic, DRM (NZ), Unified, Woodes, HopeStreet Recordings and Bedlam Records.
