Here’s who will win the Hottest 100, according to the bookies

Now, considering our sister magazine The BRAG ran two quite divisive anti-racing pieces around the time of the Melbourne Cup, (one of which I wrote) you may feel it quite hypocritical for us to be doing anything at all to promote gambling.

Well, you’re right. Which is why we aren’t going to promote the particular company that sent through this impressive tip sheet for the Hottest 100. Morals aside, the gambling industry has their mathematics down.

Not shockingly, when they post odds that shift tens of millions of dollars between hundreds of thousands of people, they double check the working, and always, always remember to carry the one.

I understand this article is a spoiler of sorts, so I’m gonna split the bookie odds — aka. the likely outcome of the Hottest 100 — with the opening credits for various Australia TV shows. Also, keep in mind, we are early into the voting process, so these may/will/shrug-emoji change as we veer closer to the end of voting.
