King Princess and Bring Me The Horizon lead the triple j playlist additions

Prep yourself for another huge week of music, with triple j naming the likes of King Princess and Bring Me The Horizon as the big acts in this week’s playlist additions.

No matter how you look at it, triple j is constantly one of the best sources for new and exciting music from all around the world. With a strong focus on Aussie artists, there’s no better way to discover new music than by tuning in to the j’s.

Following a week which saw The Vanns’ Through The Walls scoring the feature album spot, this week has seen Cheap Queen, the long-awaited debut album from King Princess, scoring the coveted position.

Having first burst onto the scene in 2018 with singles like ‘1950’, ‘Talia’, and ‘Pussy Is God’, fans have been hanging out for the debut album from this New York musician for quite some time.

Released at the end of October, Cheap Queen sees King Princess delivering a whole new batch of future anthems, scoring widespread acclaim across the board for a body of work from this artist who is only set to get bigger.

Of course, it doesn’t end there though, with one of the biggest additions to the playlist this week being ‘Ludens’, the latest single from English metalcore icons Bring Me The Horizon.

Meanwhile, AJ Tracey & Skepta’s ‘Kiss And Tell’ serves as the only other international add, while tracks from Death By Denim, Jaguar Jonze, JIM ALXNDR, Kilter & Lil Spacely, Kota Banks, and Memphis LK set to soundtrack your week.

Likewise, there’s plenty of local talent being given playlist spots this week, including tunes from Stevie Jean, Polaris, Alice Ivy, The Aston Shuffle, and #1 Dads, who return with ‘Another Day’, their first new song in years.
