Kylie Minogue still has the Brits spinning around, a new study has found.

The ex-pat Aussie pop star is one of Top 20 most-played female artists of the 21st Century in the U.K., according to airplay data published by rights society PPL, that market’s equivalent of PPCA.

Kylie comes in at No. 8, ahead of Little Mix, the reigning BRITs best British group; and the late Whitney Houston, respectively.

The Melbourne-raised, London-based singer “has had a major influence on music,” reads a statement from PPL, with 2001’s Fever a “milestone record” featuring the hit singles ‘Can’t Get You Out Of My Head’, ‘Love At First Sight,’ ‘Come Into My World’ and ‘In Your Eyes’.

The album’s 20th anniversary will be being celebrated with a special, limited-edition white vinyl release.

“It’s such an honour to be one of the U.K.’s most played female artists of the 21st century and to be in such great company,” Kylie says in a statement.

“It’s mind blowing to me and I’m so touched to know my music is continuing to be enjoyed by so many people.”

Pink leads the list, ahead of Madonna and Katy Perry.

U.S. artists dominate with 11 entries. Kylie is the only artist to make an impression from the land Down Under.

The PPL chart, published this week, is compiled from exclusive music usage and airplay data from U.K. radio stations and TV channels.

Kylie’s lofty position should come as no surprise. She’s a superstar in her adopted homeland.

The Brits’ obsession with Kylie began in the ‘80s when she graced the small screen on Neighbours.

When she made the leap into pop music, it was an instant success with Kylie’s first release there, 1988’s ‘I Should Be So Lucky,’ blasting to No. 1 on the Official U.K. Singles Chart.

All told, she’s bagged 51 Top 40 singles in the U.K., including seven No. 1s.

Also, 26 of her albums have cracked the Top 40, with eight leaders, including her last two studio albums Disco (from 2020) and Golden (2018).
