Live Nation Entertainment’s local promoter business and ticketing company have inked an exclusive multi-year partnership with Hertz.
Live Nation and Ticketmaster Australasia have made the car rental brand their exclusive partner across Australia and New Zealand.
In addition to Ticketmaster and Live Nation fans across Australia and New Zealand being given special Hertz offers, Hertz customers can win tickets to their favourite Live Nation tours, and also receive discounts and special offers.
More than that, Live Nation has said it will use Hertz vehicle rental services to drive artists and crew to all of their tours. With 1000 Live Nation events taking place each year across hundreds of tours, that’s a whole lot of business for Hertz.

The news follows the announcement in March when Greg Segal took the top partnerships role at Live Nation. Segal is now President of Brand and Marketing Partnerships for Australia and New Zealand, a newly created position within the promoter juggernaut.
The partnership actually launched in June with two consumer promotions which offers Hertz customers with the chance to win a Golden Pass (six double passes to any Live Nation gig) and four double passes to the winner in New Zealand. To enter, customers must join Hertz’s free loyalty program; Gold Plus Rewards.
